NHRA ADVANCED ET AND ET BRACKET RULES (SECTION 1A AND 1B )
ENTRY FEE IS 75.00 DOLLARS FOR CAR AND DRIVER. 50.00 DOLLARS OF
ENTRY FEE WILL BE PUT BACK INTO THE PRIZE PURSE WITH 50% GOING TO THE WINNER
AND 30% TO THRE RUNNER UP AND THE OTHER 20% GOING TO THE SEMIS. PAYOUTS TO BE
HANDLED BY HOST TRACK
HOST TRACKS WILL TRY TO KEEP ALL COMPETITORS TOGETHER IN THE PITS
AS BEST THEY CAN
THE TSW WILL FOLLOW THE NHRA RULES AND SAFETY REGULATIONS AS OUTLINED
IN THE 2004 NHRA RULE BOOK WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FOLLOWING:
ALL ELECTRONICS ARE ACCEPTED
QUALIFYING WILL BE AS:
- TWO QUALIFYING SESSEIONS WILL BE PROVIVDED UNLESS UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
FORBID
- 8.99 OR QIUCKER ALL RUN
- POSITIONS WILL BE BASED ON REACTION TIME
- ENTRANTS WHO HAVE PAID ENTRY BUT ARE UNABLE TO MAKE A QUALIFYING SESSION
WILL BE PLACED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LADDER
LADDERS
- BASED ON NHRA SPORTSMAN LADDERS
- IN THE EVENT OF AN ODD SEMI MATCH UP THE MONEY WILL BE PAID TO THE QUARTER
FINAL LOSER WITH THE BEST
- REACTION TIME. ALL MONIES WILL BE PAID BACK OUT AT THAT EVENT
STAGING
- COURTESY STAGING WILL BE STRONGLEY RCOMMENDED
- NO DEEP STAGING
- ONCE IN THE STAGING LANES ALL DECISIONS BY THE STARTER ARE FINAL
ELIMINATIONS
- LANE CHOICE GOES TO THE FASTER CAR
- COMPETITORS MUST FINISH EVENT IN THE CAR THEY STARTED IN
- PROTESTS AND COMPLAINTS MUST GO THE EEVENT DIRECTOR. EVENT DIRECTOR VOTED
ON BY THE RACERS BEFORE THE FIRST ROUND OF QUALIFYING.
DIAL INNS
- NO SLOWER THAN 8.99
- MUST BE ON THE CAR OR DIAL IN BOARDS BEFORE ENTERING THE BURNOUT BOX
- ONCE A DRIVER HAS STAGED HE/SHE IS IN ACCEPTANCE OF HIS/HER DIAL IN
RAIN OUTS
- IN THE EVENT A RACE GETS RAINED OUT BEFORE A QUAIFYING SESSION HAS BEEN
COMPLETED COMPETITORS THAT ARE PRESENT WILL RECEIVE TEN (10) POINTS SND THEIR
ENTRY MONIES BACK IN FULL.
- IN THE EVENT A QAULIFYING SESSION HAS TAKEN PLACE THAN RAINED OUT, COMPETITORS
WILL RECEIVE FIFTY PERCENT (50%) OF THEIR ENTRY MONEY BACK AND WILL RECEIVE
THEIR QUALIFYING POINTS PLUS TEN POINTS.
- IF ANY ROUND OF COMPETION IS COMPLETED AND RAIN CONCLUDES THE EVENT ALL
REMAINING COMPETITORS WILL SPLIT THE PURSE ACCORDINLY AND POINTS WILL BE AWARDED
AS SUCH, EXAMPLE: IF THE SECOND ROUND IS COMPLETED AND THE RAIN COMES AND
THERE ARE TWENTY FOUR (24) CARS LEFT, THEY WOULD SPLIT THE PURSE AMONG THE
TWENTY FOUR (24) CARS, ALL TWENTY FOUR (24) CARS WOULD ALSO EARN THIRD ROUND
LOSE POINTS.
SHOOT OUT
- ELIGIBLE TO THE TOP EIGHT ( 8 ) QUALIFERS FROM ALL TEN EVENTS
- QUALIFYING POINTS COUNT FOR THE SHOOTOUT FROM ALL TEN EVENTS
- SHOOTOUT RACE WILL TAKE PLACE BEFORE THE FINAL EVENTS FIRST ROUND
POINTS
- CLAIM BEST SEVEN ( 7 ) OUT OF TEN ( 10 )
- IF RAINOUTS BRING RACE COUNT DOWN TO SEVEN ( 7 ) OR LESS THAN ALL RACES
COUNT TOWARDS POINTS TOTALS,
- UNLIKE SHOOT OUT POINTS WHERE ALL RACES COUNT TOWARDS THAT.
- SAME AS NHRA FORMAT
RACING TWO ( 2 ) CLASSES WITH THE SAME CAR AT THE SAME EVENT ARE PERMITTED
AS LONG AS:
- THE TRACK PERMITTS IT
- THE PARTICIPANT IS READY TO RUN WHEN CALLED TO THE LANES WITHIN A REASONABLE
TIME OR FORFEIT THE ROUND
