This was the first time HH had seen the cool Outlaw '66 Nova of Dino Sclandri from South San Francisco

Our friends the Hairstons were here celebrating the engagement of driver Clint and his wife-to-be Lindy!

Tom Moss of Bentoud CO closest to the camera.

Veteren PSCA racer Slim Zienaty was here from Needles CA with familier True Chevelle and slick new Outlaw Camaro.

Pro Street Firebird of Kelly Bluebaugh and the Outlaw Citation of Steve Paulauskis from the Phoenix area.

The big, bad '70 Nova of Rich Zehring from San Jose fought a new automatic shifter for two qualifying rounds then sqeaked out a 7.24 shifting from 1st to high gear. They went on to run a 7.20 then a 7.21 to take out Pickett and set the new record (7.207), but were a little hurt. The air was 4500-5000 ft so it was tricky. They lost the race to Lenore but will be back ready to run even harder in Labor Day Weekend at LVMS.

Still the car to beat in west coast Pro Street racing, the Las Vegas Review Journal had a nice piece (with photo) in the Friday edition.
