Greg lawrence had both chutes deploy on burnout.

A very interesting note came from a reader Bill Moore:
It is interesting that not too many folks noticed the speed that Gary Anderson ran on Sunday. Don Gryte and myself (Bateman will be running soon) had the good fortune of crewing on that car this weekend (and will do so again on the rain date).
On their first pass they went 215 to half-track and ended up running 248 and change. On Sunday it was lazy early without enough clutch and only hit 209 to half-track yet went 268.25! As you know they have Bob Otto helping with the car and it is becoming very consistent and easy on parts. Mid 270's and low 5.30's are very realistic for these guys in June.

Shields ran well, but may need more when he returns.

Bowdish will face Hutalla in round one in June.

Joe Young in sunshine with ominous clouds to the northwest.

Not sure if Defrank will come back in June.

Harrison had Igor running better than we have ever seen it before.

Thompson got Cal in first ever Stock race. Method advanced.

Cyr hooks large in heads up race with Cyrus Gallant

Shawn Towner jumps for joy as dad John has just defeated Jody Lang in round one.
