Ken Johnston was number eight in qualifying, but number one when it came down to the final.
That red glow says it all.
Shawn Kvaas had a decent outing after qualifying tenth. Here he is in semifinal matchup with the eventual champ.
McKinney begins his successfull chase-down of 'Da Worm' in the semifinal.
The all-new Lee Bros-Hemied A/SA of former FMFC driver Tom Baumeister has all the good parts. The Kitimat dentist needs some 'Stocker' experience, then look for this killer '70 Cuda to stir things up in Div. 6.
Number two qualifier Don Elgin took out Baumeister in round one, Taylor in two before loosing to McKinney in semis.
The neat ET/SA of Randy Hutchings was number one qaualifier, but raced eventual winner Johnston in the first stanza.
Norm LaPoint got the record, as he qualified 4th, got by Matiejewski in round one before going up against McKinney in round two.
John Towner got to drive this weekend, qualified third but lost to Kvaas in round one.
The wild SS/F Chevelle of Gord Merkley lasted until round two after qualifying sixth.
Jim Ezell qualified 12 in the GT/AA Camaro, lost to Taylop's C/SA in round one.
